Sonam Sella Rice is a variety of Indian basmati rice that is farmed and grown in the northern regions of India, primarily in the states of Haryana and Punjab. It is a variety of sella rice, which means that the rice is parboiled before milling which results in more separate and slightly firmer grain after cooking. Due to its slender, long shape, and subtle aroma, it is ideal for cuisines like pulaos, biryanis, kheer, and a lot more traditional Indian rice dishes. This variety of rice has a minimum age of 1 year before being sold which helps in increasing its aroma and flavor. Additionally, Queen Sonam Sella Rice is available with us in varied protective PP/jute bag packaging options.
